Community Team Roles and Responsibilities

The primary objective is to successfully accomplish tasks assigned by the CHO/Medical Officer pertaining to the campaign.

The community team for the 100 Days Campaign will comprise:

  • MO/CHO
  • ANM/MPW
  • ASHA Facilitators

This team will be responsible for monitoring and supporting ASHAs/Community volunteers in executing campaign activities.

ASHA/Community volunteers are encouraged to seek support from various community stakeholders, including:

  • TB Champions
  • PRI members
  • Anganwadi workers
  • Mahila Arogya Samiti/Self Help Group members
  • Other influential individuals within the community

These stakeholders can play a crucial role in motivating community participation in the campaign.

100 Days Campaign Kit for ASHAs/Community Volunteers

The ASHA/Community Volunteer should carry the following items during house visits and field work:

  • Survey Formats and pen
  • Falcon tubes/sputum containers
  • Packaging materials and markers
  • IEC materials on TB and on the campaign
