The WHO Global tuberculosis report 2025 offers a comprehensive and current evaluation of the TB epidemic. It assesses advancements in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of the disease at global, regional, and country levels. This assessment is conducted within the framework of global TB commitments, strategies, and targets.

The 2025 edition of the report relies heavily on data collected by the WHO from national ministries of health through annual data collection rounds. In 2025, data was reported by 184 countries and areas out of 215, representing over 99% of the world's population and TB cases.

Direct comparisons between estimates of the TB disease burden in the most recent report and previous reports are not advisable. The most recent time-series of estimates are available in this global TB report.
